Eat less meat!

Postby PvUtrix » Thu Jan 12, 2006 12:11 pm

I've been shocked by a documentary, I've watched recently. Some very highly ranked and respected scientists are saying animal protein is cancerogenic, it's not the animal fats that are bad, it's all animal protein, meat, dairy... They say that industries which make money off products containing animal protein are censoring the studies, which you will not see on TV or read in a newspaper.

Anyway since Cyprus is among the top consumers of meat per capita, I thought you should know...
This is serious, watch it till the end, don't be ignorant and eat less meat!

RIDICULOUS! In any case, there are many carcinogenic products in vegetables. After all, tobacco is vegetable.

You can also drown in 3 cm of water, if you lie face down in it.

Too much of anything is bad for the health...does not matter whether it causes cancer or not.
Exercise moderation in anything......

Agree here with dms, everything can cause cancer. There are not any scientific proofs that meat causes cancer!!!! What can cause cancer is a combination of many factors and it is not limited to meat... Red or White meat is also needed for good health, animal proteins and different from veg proteins. I hate it when some scientists in the name of publicity publish b....t. If any scientist gives me a well documented and certified study about this I will be the first to cut meat, otherwise ...give me a break!

I was off of meat for about two years. I only ate veggies and fish. I think I was doing some kind of experiment at the time - who knows...
Now - everyone in my family loves and enjoys meat. Its like a staple in our house - like salt, sugar, lemons.
