I’m making a very valid point… that some individuals in places embroiled in conflict, adopt a behavior that only the likes of Freud can interpret.

Embroiled in conflict? How and where exactly? Thousands closing the green line daily. Hundreds of TC's choosing Larnaca to Ercan. Dozens of GC's flying from Ercan to Istanbul daily. Our leaders hopefully meeting again soon to negotiate. It's not a bed of roses but it certainly isn't embroiled in conflict.

Simple enough. And if it's so, who do you think Criminal Law is meant to protect; the Innocent, or those not Guilty? It terrifies you it seems, the world. Perhaps it is best if you stay at home. "Mixed" relations, some tolerance, love, and respect, is not what i get from your message, it is fear lusting for some passion from a "other" side. I doubt you even read, cogently, my posts.

Again, you "Greek", because you still sound like a "Turk".

The CyProb *can* be described as an “embroilment” (noun) because two or more parties are involved in a long term political argument/dispute.

Embroilment doesn’t necessarily mean that shots are fired, although an exchange of fire wasn’t an impossibility a few weeks ago during a hydrocarbons standoff… which you may not have heard about in Nof London. :)

1. Bananiot

2. Pyro + Loucas Haralambous (a pair)

3. Kikakopoulos

Here we have three (actually 4) individuals who have or had for the most part, sided with the enemy camp during their CF participation, and maybe beyond.

I’ve chosen these three unique and distinct cases (OK... one is a pair!) because they have all gone against the "flow" for three different reasons.

The pair share the same reason so they are grouped together.

So who wants to hear it? :)

... Loucas Haralambous is a forum writer?

ie: Turkish navy vs. CNG anti-ship Exocets, etc.

Err, maybe we’ll carry on tomorrow... :?

It’s a completely different experience when you live here; there were six Turkish navy ships involved in the standoff, floating about and well within range off Gavo Greco, and some of us were ready for the worse actually… wouldn’t have been surprised at all by a call to gather at our bases and wait for further instructions.

Call me an arsehole all you want... but the shit gets real when you live here and in the Army reserve, against a foe that is 100x larger in pretty much everything.

Not that Apostolides deserved to die but I can't feel much sympathy for somebody who who choose to mix with the underworld. As the old saying goes: "The one who gets mixed in the grain is eaten by the chickens".
