Such risky lifestyles often end badly but the point I’d like to make is this:

He is another character who no doubt would’ve spoken well of his “TC compatriots” had he frequented a forum like this.

But the problem is that normal, healthy humans stick with their own kind… they don’t side with the enemy except in a very small and select number of cases… homosexuality and perversion being one of them! Isn’t that right Pyro?

So in future don’t get too excited if you come across someone who says all the right things you like to hear… but use your head to contemplate why. :wink:

So do you mean when a GC says to me

The composition of the government should be determined by democratic procedures and not an “ethnic allocation” leading to divisions and strife. Ethnicity must take a backseat (made irrelevant even) for a modern unitary state to work.

I should assume he is insincere and is lying to me, for no other reason than he is not of 'my kind' ?

This is STANDARD procedure that the RoC already operates by...

When you said the above it was all the right things I wanted to hear. I took it at face value that you believed this is how things should be. Is your advise to me that I should 'use my head to contemplate why' you are saying it because you are not of 'my kind' ? If you were of 'my kind' , there is no need to do this ? Yep still confused.

I simply reminded you of what those living under the RoC are already experiencing which is what they’d expect to find in any future CyProb political arrangement.

In other words, most of us (normal, healthy individuals) on this side of the roadblock expect a modern democratic state as prerequisite; having no interest in any Ottoman-style ethnic favoritisms, so you can forget about that my Ottoman friend for you don’t have enough “oriental charm” to lure the masses like you lured the unhealthy minded Apostolides!
