You should enable automatic updates on your browser. (OK .... I'm not too clever on this but ..... HOW if I don't use Firefox or Chrome ? )

Don't tell me you are using Internet Explorer!!
I never used that "heavy" sht. Consumes too much memory and it's slow. Crashes way too often.

Go on download Firefox or better Chrome. You are only a few clicks away

NB. The first thing I ever learned on computers is this: NOTHING bad will happen to your computer by installing known software. So don't be afraid.

That's just it ..... I am afraid .... very afraid. Usually when I attempt anything other than my 'normal' use .... I somehow manage to f**k up and have to haul it down to the computer shop to get it fixed!

I will try Chrome later .... and if you don't hear from me for a few days ....... you will know I failed .... again! :D :D

geez....how friggin dumb can you get?

Look boys, if security is important to you, and it should be considering your political views, then I would download Opera and use Duck Duck Go as a search engine.

https://www.opera.com

look don't worry about it because you're all owned anyway. :D

Unlike you I don't profess to be an expert on everything! I know my limitations and buggering about with the configuration of a computer is one of them! :|

I would have thought with your views as an extremist it should be you that uses internet security.

If I owned you I would take you back and get a refund!

I'm not an expert on computers but golly gosh, I think my 7 year old knows how to download Chrome!

Now say thank you for saving your sorry arse and giving you a solid lead. I didn't have to point you in the right direction, but I sometimes feel sorry for people.

And no, I am no extremist.

You are all a commodity!

And no, I am no extremist.

You are an extremist .... your extreme views indicate that fact!

You are all a commodity!

...thanks for the link.

While the Ambassador is hard to listen to, he raises what seem valid points. Indeed the issues are far more complex, hearing both sides only makes it more complex, i'll keep reading, assigning "blame" to one side or the other is irrelevant, neither side is blameless, both sides are playing to "win". In any case, i fear, who pays, is "me".

I am a commodity too, but only when I WANT TO BE. When you search to buy something with Google, you become a commodity.

I am in control of what I do.

In addition, there is nothing at all extreme about my views. it's Pootin who is a totalitarian Extremist and aiding and abetting terrorist regimes right now, like Assad. And you are a cheerleader so you need to rethink who exactly is the extremist here.

My views are mainstream, to say the least. Only some liberals might beg to differ because I might support Trump a little because I think his treatment is a little unfair for one, and the American people had their say in a fair and democratic process. Which is a lot more that can be said about Russia.

I suggested you use Opera, and it is that you should be thanking me for. Chrome is owned by Google. Mozilla, is another massive corporation which really doesn't respect your data unless you go for a variant like Pale Moon, or Waterfox.

Waterfox is good, as is Pale Moon but they are for power users or for people that know what they are doing and who can modify the browser as its highly configurable.

You are better off with Opera, because it is a breeze and has VPN too, and an inbuilt advertising blocker. It's also very light and the fastest browser on the market. it's faster than Chrome.

Pyro sold you a lemon ok. I'm not going to tell you again.

And if you want to get away from Google, you need to look at Duck Duck Go.

But Chrome, is the last place I would go.

Look I don't care what you do. A person with your views, need to be a bit more astute.

As I have tried to explain innumerable times to Paphitis, you cannot assign blame to anyone until you have some evidence and every point he discussed, so far has no credible evidence one way or the other. Although to prove you didn't do something is almost impossible, which is why in any Court of Law it is the prosecution that has to provide proof of guilt and follows the course of innocent until proven guilty.
