I don't want to do that. A want a file.

:? FAIL!

To sum it up, what you get with commercial browsers is a bare-bones SHELL that needs like two dozen “add-ons” before it can perform even the basic shit like viewing Ms Office files or RSS feeds!

I do not have 2 dozen add ons.

I only have 2 security add ons - Ghostery and HTTPS everywhere.

Oh and the "Turn the lights off" (it's not essential, just easy on the eyes at night)

I don't like add ons, and only go for what I think is essential and things I will use. The rest is bloat-ware.

Its amazingly very lite. And I am happy with it. I have a very secure web browsing system that is fast, easy and very simple. Yours isn't simple like Opera.

You should download it because it will teach you a few things about simplicity.

For crying out loud Paphitis, how was I able to post images of Opera failing earlier today if I didn’t have it here to test it? :)

But anyway, I don’t find it simple because I don’t understand symbols… only the written word.

If I read “Browser Options” then I know EXACTLY what an option is before I click it, but if I see some non-standard symbol then I get confusion.

Let's test your knowledge of symbols since you claim that Opera (a browser packed with cryptic symbols) is easy to use:

What do these mean? Who can tell me?

Nobody should be able to answer this question because they are MEANINGLESS tossings as there is no accepted international standard that they represent one thing or another, in software.

In fact the only symbols (or icons if you prefer) that are an international standard are those on a CD-ROM player (FF/RR/Play/Eject/etc).

Any other icon/symbol you’ll find in software is MADE UP cryptic bullshit.

So to recap… what is easier, this menu?

1. Print File
2. New Window
3. Browser Options
4. Copy to Clipboard
5. Exit Program

Or the meaningless symbols/icons in the previous post?

Elementary… :)

OK, play around with it.

It's very refreshing and easy. I understand though about the symbols. I prefer brevity but others may not.

It tells you what it is when you hover. And when you use the Browser, you just know exactly what everything is.

I prefer the opera menu which doesn't pollute, make the browser look busy and if people don't know, all you need to do is hover and it tells you in plain English.

The other great thing about Opera Get Real is mouse gestures.

You know how much time you can save in just everyday browsing from this innovation?

GR, all you do is enable features that already exist in Chrome but they are disabled by default as they are still experimental. It is funny that you are trying to take credit for how your browser scores when you did not develop any of those features yourself and all you did was turning some option from its default "false" and changing it to "true".

There is a reason that Chrome, Opera etc keep those features disabled by default: They are not totally ready yet and they are to be used only for experimenting and not for public facing websites. And for this reason enabling those features is totally USELESS because no public website will ever use features that are not supported by at least the majority of their users' browsers. Personally I would not use a feature in a website unless it has about 95% support, and even in cases of progressive enhancement nobody would use a feature that has nearly zero browser support.
