I do not claim to have all the answers. For me however it does not take a genius or eons of philosophising to understand that Cypriots like you who love some country other than Cyprus more than Cyprus itself, that consider Cyprus is inseparable from some other country other than Cyprus, that believe there is no such thing as a Cypriot nation that includes Cypriots of many different ethnic origins, have played and continue to play a central role in fucking up Cyprus as a nation, as a state and as a nation-state.. As a true Cypriot patriot, one who loves Cyprus more than any other country, I stand against such people be they GC or TC or anything else. The sooner such people are driven to the margins of debate and influence in Cyprus the sooner we can start to repair the mess their mentalities have caused.

I side with you erolz on the logical part we (GCs and TCs) should love Cyprus as our nation.
However most humans think emotionally first, and then logically.
Hence I can also understand GIG's stance as well.

Problem is this Cypriot nation gave us nothing to feel proud of so far. All it gave us is misery and pain. and it's been repeated over and over again, every time we achieve anything something happens to take us to the bottom. (re the latest 2013 almost near state /financial bankruptcy)

Did you notice how happy and loving to our Cyprus we the GCs became after winning a few medals in Australia? Did you notice that everyone was waving the Cypriot flag? Heck, Georgiou was not even pure Cypriot yet we felt very proud of him, and our ever bastardizing nation.
Imo building a nation conscience needs time and common achievements of ALL Cypriots.

Let's hope next time we win the Eurovision with a mixed GC/Tc band (singing in English LOL).

I would have thought you had at least an ounce of logic, you have zero. By condemning the West's involvement in Syria, an involvement that has protracted the war for years, in no way translates into support for either Hezbollah, Iran or any other group
It merely means that the USA and others should not have intervened in a conflict who had its ultimate aim the removal of one dictator in order that one or probably more dictators would take over.
It was in October 2012 that I expressed my views on the war in Syria, views that remained consistent throughout, unlike your childish and utterly naive views that initialy supported the need to have dictators in place only to change subsequently, indeed as your views on Trump whom you considered an idiot and subsequently fell in love with the man.
You have a long way to go before reaching the levels of consistency that I have reached.
As for Israel, I have consistently supported its right to exist , this does not in any way infer that I would applaud any action taken by Israel. You on the othet hand throw support regardless of the essence in a particular act, just blindly concurring.

The West’s involvement in Syria put an end to ISIL in that country. If it wasn’t for that, you will still be having those nightmares about Jihado John.
