It's about the same standard as a State league. Bloody A League clubs are global giants owned by Global Football Groups like the City Football Group (Manchester City)

You guys are just a village pub team!

there is no way the Cy League is stronger than the A League. All you have is a stronger coefficient which is a false comparison because A League clubs can't get the coefficient points of the UEFA Leagues.

Get Appollon to play Victory, Sydney, City FC and they will get raped like a bitch because there is no way any Cypriot team can counter the Australian Physicality of Total Football (you saw it in the world cup against France)!

Still no answer to my question boys? Which Greek, or Cypriot Club has more members than 27,400 season ticket holders for one club? Anyone?

First of all, strikers like Berisha and Usain Bolt would leave all your players for dead with their change of pace. fastest footballers on the planet. fastest Man on the planet!

Here’s an interesting development...that Usain Bolt you’ve been going on about is being replaced by a little Ozzie chap who couldn’t even get on the squad list of Apoel this year and had to fight to break his contract.

Oar, did actually get in the Apoel squad and played 19 games at Apoel.

Not only that, but he also played 105 games at FC Utrecht so he was bound to leave Apoel because that was beneath him

Oar is a professional, and has represented Australia at the World Cup. There is no way he would stay at Apoel because he would then be overlooked for International Duty because there are so many Aussies playong professionally in Holland, Bundeslige, Turkey, England, Scotland, Belgium and Italy.

They don't take Cy League seriously at all.

As for Usain Bolt. he is the 100m world record holder at 9.5 seconds. he is the fastest man on the planet. he is the fastest striker on the planet and he wears the number 95 because of his 9.5 second world record.

Paphiti...listen to me closely. Apoel didn’t even want to register him for the squad this year...he’s useless. Should do well for the Ozzie league though

Kids been trying to get a game in for ages but he just doesn’t stack up compared to the other wingers..

he played 19 games for Apoel DT. looks like he wanted to leave not the other way around. If he stayed, his Australian national Football career would be over. You don't go to Cyprus and expect to wear the Australian Shirt EVER again.

Only our pensioners will go there.

His reason for wanting to leave that was declared on his complaint was cause apoel didn’t include him in the squad for 2018.

Paphiti, that’s 19 games in 1 year. Apoel played over 55 games last year and Oar came mostly in as a sub.

Oh no he didn't. He wasn't even there for 6 months because he was playing at Brisbane Roar so that he can get into the Australian World Cup Squad. He left Apoel so he could go to the World Cup DT so who do you think you are kidding mate? He was also a known quantity to Ausytralia's Dutch Coach who was coaching him in Holland.

This guy played 3 seasons at FC Utrecht for crying out loud.

Apoel was suicide for him.

yes he it was a separation by mutual consent.

Fact is DT, no one really cares if he made Apoel or not. We do not even rate Apoel and it would have been the end of his career. When they talk about Apoel in the A league, it is done so mockingly. That is where old players go for their swansong.

We know that Cypriot Football is utterly stupid anyway and completely incompatible with Australian Players.

Australian players are very aggressive by nature. We are not going to take into consideration some 3rd tier European team when this guy was playing for a top Dutch club.

 he couldn’t make it in the squad of a Cypriot team mate...he’s gonna be a hero in Australia. This right here....is the proof in the pudding. Australia just doesn’t have a competitive league.
