yes he it was a separation by mutual consent.

Fact is DT, no one really cares if he made Apoel or not. We do not even rate Apoel and it would have been the end of his career.

We know that Cypriot Football is utterly stupid anyway and completely incompatible with Australian Players.

Australian players are very aggressive by nature.

 he couldn’t make it in the squad of a Cypriot team mate...he’s gonna be a hero in Australia. This right here....is the proof in the pudding. Australia just doesn’t have a competitive league.

That's because your coach is an idiot. He made FC Utrecht no problem and he was lucky to get out of Cyprus and get selected for the Australian national Team by the former Dutch National Team Coach.

Who are we to listed to DT? The Apoel pub team or the former Coach of Holland? 8)

My money is with the Australian Coach DT who was the Coach of Holland at the previous World Cup. I bet you 100% the Australian Coach told him to get the hell out if he wants to be taken seriously.

BTW it appears that Oar played 27 games for Apoel. 19 League appearances, 4 Cy Cup appearances and 4 Champions league appearances.

Why he even went there beats me. I think he was only keen on the Champions League. :?

It also appears that Apoel paid Brisbane Roar more than 550,000 to sign Oar. The reason is because Oar was known to Apoel's former coach Dutchman Mario Been. When Apoel got rid of Been, Oar also left.

Now here is the kicker. Australia's National Team Coach was former Dutch coach at the previous World cup.

Brisbane Roar, which is an Australian A league Team, is also known as Brisbane Hollandia. It is owned by Dutch Team PSV. It's colours are also Dutch Orange to emulate the Dutch National Team.

The colours of Brisbane Roar are the same as Holland. In the old days, their emblem was the Flag of Holland.

Now DT! Who are the stupid idiots here? It looks like the only winners and grinners here were Brisbane Roar (Hollandia) who got their Dutch mate Mario Been to give them a pile of cash until he got shafted and Oar had to go. And where did he go? Brisbane Hollandia and he still got to wear the Australian Shirt at the World cup under another well known Dutch Coach.

Well played Apoel!

As for Brisbane Hollandia, they were laughing all the way to the bank. Money for jam...

I happen to know Apoel and its board intimately. Oar was begging to be included in the player registrations with the CFA and was fine not to play. APOEL just have too many players better than him there and it meant removing one of them. So when APOEL decided not to register him with the roster he went legal to break his contract. Those where the grounds after all to break the contract...they didn’t even want to register him with the Football Association.

Facts are, he’s not good enough for APOEL, but he’ll be a star back in Australia. Not sure why this is such a big deal for you, Cyprus has a much more competitive league and international club games here include playing the Barcelona’s and Bayern’s of this world. You guys play the Al Xipoliti FC from Kuwait?

Oar is not good enough for any of the top 6 teams of the CY league but for the Australian league he’s like a Maradona!

Come to think of it... even I could probably play for the Australian league! 8)

That's bullshit and you know it DT. You make it sound like Oar was a washout and went to Cyprus to try out for the team. Well he wasn't there on trial. Mario Been wanted him and he wanted him because he intimately knew the player personally from Holland.

Apoel handed over some serious cash in order to get Oar from Brisbane Hollandia.

So Apoel bought him. Therefore, Oar made the squad the minute he landed in Cyprus and was very much a favourite son of Mario Been, until you suckers shafted the Dutch maestro and then turned around and shafted Oar.

And the results, are there for all to see and speak for themselves. You are OUT of the champions League because of your own stupidity.

Oar, still made the cut for the Australian Team, under the Dutch Maestro that was in charge of the famous 2014 Dutch World Cup Team which was just insanely powerful. and wore the shirt proudly. He played against Holland in the famous 3-2 defeat and and he played against France where the French were so friggin lucky not to be demolished by the Australian Team, so don't tell me your third rate pensioners club is somehow superior to Oar!

So again DT, who are we to believe? Your pub team manager or our Dutch maestro?

And you idiots paid for his. Well done! Now how stupid are you idiots.

I want you and DT to line up for an IQ Test - purely for medical science purposes!

Oar was fucken shitting on France for crying out loud.

Mate, in Cyprus you only have 3 teams. In Australia, there is a bees pubic hair difference between the first team and the last team. It's a much harder league to compete in and the Cy league.

All the teams are loaded with money because they are major corporations worth Billions behind them.

 oh save the hot air paphiti...your league is shite

http://theconversation.com/why-soccer-i ... alia-97327

Attendance at A-League matches was never able to keep pace with either the AFL or NRL, and during the just-completed 2017-18 season, it dipped to 1.53 million total fans, or an average of 10,926 per match, the lowest numbers since 2011. Most worrying has been stagnation and, in some cases, significant declines in attendance for derbies (the Big Blue and Sydney derbies, for example) and certain struggling clubs like Wellington Phoenix.

Hell! There’s not even a million of us and only Apoel brings in over 100k attendance per year and you guys only master 1.5m for the entire Australia? That’s shite!

And by the way...qualifying for a World Cup by having to beat the likes of Syria, Thailand and Honduras is shite!

Your league? It’s shite!

For the size of that country, you’re sitting here debating why we tried out one of your star players and he wasn’t good enough to even register on the cfa as part of the squad. Instead you should be wondering whether arguing if Cyprus or Australia is better has already shown you the level your country belongs to....below cyprus.

Its a lot better than the Cy League DT. And people are gonna be going in droves to get a glimpse of the greatest athlete in sports history - Usain Bolt. The guy makes 50 million a year from sponsorships alone, so how come a lowly A League team can sign his services with the stature that he is in International Sport? You would be creaming your pants at the chance to see such a sporting legend and international icon. How does the A league attract people like that? $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

there are some giant teams in the A League - such as Melbourne Victory and Sydney Wanderers. They have much higher attendances than most European clubs bar Italy, Spain, and English Premier Leagues.

And btw, the attendances are down because 2 of the big clubs are building their own stadium and had to play elsewhere at the Olympic Stadium until Paramatta is revamped. The Olympic Stadium is an 80,000 all seater, and soccer fans hate it because its too big and lacks an atmosphere unless of course Australia play there or in front of 100,000 fans at the MCG, which is one of the biggest stadiums in the world.

http://www.abc.net.au/news/2016-12-08/n ... nt/8102628

But if you look carefully, the average attendance is actually 14000 per game, Down last season because of the Paramatta Stadium saga and 2 A league teams being refugees temporarily at the dismay of their fans. It always has been in that ballpark. Which is a phenomenal record in Australia.

Now please tell us about how it came to be that Apoel bought Oar for over half a million.

I've been waiting.

now let's compare that A League attendance - which btw is more than Belgium, and Portugal and just shy of Holland with that of Cyprus!

Average attendance in the CY League - the most popular sport in Cyprus is......

WAIT FOR IT FOLKS.... :D :D

DRUM ROLL PLEASE............. :D :D

OH MY TUMMY HURTS.......

A whopping huge 2,237 fans per game....

Oh and Apoel averaged an entire 5,293 per game.

http://www.european-football-statistics ... avecyp.htm

And that is down from the 2,903 average attendance in the 2015/16 season.

https://www.worldfootball.net/attendanc ... 15-2016/1/

Oh and oh, in 2016/17, the average attendance was a huge 1,666 people per game.....

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2016%E2%8 ... t_Division

I think the ALeague is doing just fine DT with its 12,000 to 14,000 averages for all teams.

It's pretty much on par with places like Portugal, Holland and Belgium which is an amazing achievement considering the fact that Australia is saturated with a lot of sport and there is a lot of competition. And people are going to go nuts over Usain Bolt too.

BTW, congratulations to Giannou from AEK who just got named in the 31 man squad for the Australian National Team. That is pretty damn huge to get named.

AEK better look after this guy or else.
