Explain Florian who isn't even a player the A League would go for.

Australia and the US MLS try and attract 1st tier players in their early 30s and Cyprus wouldn't even be able to sign the same players because they can't spend the amounts they offer in the J league, A League and US MLS. We are signing players for millions.

the Record transfer in the A League was 12 million. That's getting up there.

So we get players like Villa, Messi, and so on. These are the types of impact players we have in the A league in Florian's age bracket.

China is able to do better because they are offering 25 million packages and with that money that can pretty much buy what they want. Even players in the 20s and in their prime.

The day is approaching when the most expensive teams will not be Barcelona, but Chinese clubs will surpass the Barcelona.

Had Florian played in the Australian league he’d probably score 3-4 goals per match!

That’s how easy it would be for him to cut through the feeble defenses of Australian clubs.

He wouldn't get a run.

I compare him to Henrique who is Brisbane's substitute impact player.

Florian won't get a run because there are too many good players here and Australian Teams are only allowed 4 marquees which do not fall under any salary cap so they spend big and get quality signings. Florian isn't the type of player they would go for when they try and chase Dejan Lovren for example.

Floian would be a waste of a Marquee spot.

I already explained that what costs $10 million to buy in the US or Australia is only worth $1 million in Cyprus due to UEFA participation.

It’s basically…

Less cash + European potential

OR

Much cash + but no potential

No it doesn't cost the A League 10 million what it would cost you 1 million.

We are paying millions and getting players like Villa, Messi, and Del Piero. The day Cyprus can sign guys like that I will eat my hat.

Not the Florians.

Playing for Melbourne City is a lot more better than playing for Apoel. Why? Because you are actually on the Manchester City roster. It is the back door to the English EPL.

Messi doesn't play in the US because he hasn't RETIRED yet!

They only get RETIREES!

Messi is on his way don't worry.

The A League are chasing him too.

Del Piero played for Sydney FC and lives in Sydney now and doesn't want to leave.

Villa for Melbourne City and new York City. City Football Group worth Billions. Melbourne City, New York City (Cosmos) and Manchester City are the same company.

Eventually Messi and Ronaldo may choose to go to the US or some other exotic place, but it won't happen before they have retired from European football.

That's how it works so I guess you can expect them to arrive when they're like 35-ish.

USD and Australia isn't exotic.

Cyprus is exotic because its like going to the cayman's or Virgin islands or some such thing.

US and Australia are pretty big countries.

And yes, Ronaldo could go the US or even Australia. He is the kind of player they want and can afford to sign.

You have to know that the Australians and Americans run a business model that is fully developed and they have a National Draft which is the reason why the bottom teams can end up winning the championship the following year because the bottom teams have the first draft picks which they can either use or sell for millions of bucks each.

The MLS and A league models are copy cat models of American Major league Football and Aussie Rules which btw are bigger leagues that the EPL or Spanish First Division in terms of money and wealth.

That is what you are dealing with here.

There are no ERMIS Aradipou, Pafos, peyia, or Digenis Akritas teams in the US MLS or A League. There are only multi million dollar franchises and businesses.

They are considered exotic by football standards… they are places that washed out stars go to retire.
