Trabzon??? Dude… that’s from 13 years ago!

We can only WISH we had as easy an opponent as Trabzon in Apollon's EL group both this year and last, but no such luck...

Sure mate. Right now you can't even beat third tier teams and you dream to draw Trabzonspor. Yeh right!

Trabzon is "3rd tier" but unfortunately these are our opponents...

This year's opponents...
--------------------------------
1. Eintracht Frankfurt
2. Lazio
3. Marseille

Lats year's opponents...
-----------------------------
1. Lyon
2. Everton
3. Atalanta

Have you even heard of these names before?

Research re donkey boy...

I've heard of them and Apoel never even got there.

AEK barely and now they are getting thumped.

You can't play these opponents because Cypriots don't have the heart to. Australian players however will break their leg for their country.

A League teams can give Everton, Atalanta, and Marseille a good run.

What are you on about Paphiti? Apoel went to the final 8 of the Champions League and final 16 of Europa League. That’s in UEFA mate. You know? Where the best teams in the world compete?

We kicked out teams like Porto, Lyon, Shaktar, Zenit, Copenhagen...seriously what are you on about?

Good luck to you DT and I hope you get in the 8 and top 16 again.

But we all know they were flukes. You got lucky and arsy and you beat some great teams along the way. They under estimated you and paid the price. But you wouldn;t be able to do it again with the same teams because they have a lot of quality and they would shut you down like the assassins they are.

But that doesn't make you better than the A League or better than any of the leagues 0f the teams you beat along the way.

A League is an intense competition. No easy games or teams in the A league but in the Cy League there is so many shit teams. Apoel would not be able to play at A League level week in and week out and if you tried you would have so many injuries because the league is tougher and more physical.

Paphiti, this is year in year out. 2017 we kicked out Athletic Bilbao from the Europa League. I’m giving you hardcore results here and you’re telling me that Apoel that plays 10 months 52 matches on average a year both in Cyprus and Europe can’t compete with your 7 month 23 game season?

No its not. You bombed out this year so its not year in year out at all.

The A League isn't a 23 game season. There are 4 rounds in the A league - 36 weeks and then the Finals series as well as the FFA Cup and League Cup. And the AFC Championships.

They play more games at a more intense level. The top team is not guaranteed to beat the bottom team in the A League because they are evenly matched.

Look Paphidoui, if any of the top 6 Cypriot clubs ever play your Aussie champ it’ll be like Barcelona vs Girl Guides

If any of the top 6 Cypriot clubs played in the A league, they would be decimated by the physicality, speed and tempo of the Australian Teams. All you could do is park the bus and that is all you are good for. The Aussies will attack and dissect you and after 1 month all your players will be injured too because they are just gay primadonnas.

Paphitis, I had a look at your main clubs; like whom they’ve played against outside of Australia in the last few years and how they performed etc, and I’d have to rate the top three Australian clubs of comparable strength to Irish clubs like Cork City, Dundalk, Shamrock Rovers, etc.

And that’s your absolute best case scenario… :?

My prediction for tonight’s Lastiharies vs Hohos match…

A hohos win by a small margin because they are more desperate for points than their opponents.
