Outrageous sums of money are the only way football retirees would ever leave their beloved UEFA for a shitty league like China, so you’re just advertising Chinese stupidity and desperation here! :)

I know… I know… you’re feeling upset and all stressed out.

Look, when you next come to Cyprus I will personally take you to the stadiums and arrange for you to kiss the golden boots of strikers like Maglica, Zelaya, Frorian, Papoullis, Tete, etc…

How’s that for a favor? That’s how nice a guy I am Paphitis! 8)

Watched the first half… how tragic Omonia has gotten… so bad they make the Lastiharies look good! :)

Christofie's performance has taken a nose dive... :(

I've already been to the stadiums (hardly stadiums mate compared to what we have) and watch a few games.

There was nothing impressive about the standard at all. Hardly any people go either. Your stadiums are usually empty which is hard to believe for a country where that is the main game.

In Australia, our stadiums are full, games are telecast to a global audience, there is a lot of hype (like Usain Bolt), there is Papparazzi, entertainment, and the football is fast and furious.

It's very physical and the unexpected always occurs. There is no doubt in my mind that the A League is a better product than the Cy League. TV Rights are 100 Billion for 10 years or 10 Billion for a year - which is half the entire Cyprus GDP for crying out loud.

Most of those players are younger than pensioner Florian.

Most of them are still active with their respective International Teams. Florian never represented his country because he was never good enough.

I am pretty fucken positive that 615000 per week will attract a lot more than retirees. Every Cy League player and Florian would jump at that but they are NOT good enough to get there. Sorry.

But that is the usual case. The entire Cy league is tragic. You go and it's like drawing teeth.

Without quality players they couldn’t succeed if they had Alex Ferguson coaching.

:? The only worthwhile Greek player I’ve ever seen is Papoulis and the rest are/were useless.
