What's the point what ones DNA make up is?

This is no different than some people trying to find their biological parents who gave them up as babies 30-40 years ago and have been raised by their adopted parents since then. What kind a slap in the face is that to their adopted parents who have cared for them all their lives? Totally ungrateful I would say.
