OK, well I predict you’d probably be wearing pom-poms, tights, a pleaded skirt, and be herding goats while your chubby cow-milking wife would be using your penknife to trim down her moustache as best she can. :?

How prosperous and happy can it possibly be when you’re playing 2nd fiddle to a Balkan peasant? :?

Well you’re in a position to tell us Lordo, because the occupied territory has been playing 2nd fiddle to another Balkan peasant for nearly half a century!

come on you can do better. i am not talking about propserity, i am talking about life. what would it have been like?

i did not ask about anybody else. i want to know what life would have been like the sheepriots if their wish was granted and became part of greece which was under a fascist regime.

For one, your kith and kin would all be stashed up in some coastal town near Adana, speaking your funny grecoturkish dialect among yourselves and looking down on the nearby uneducated children of Yoruks. They would in turn call you Rum tohumu.

On the other hand, we may be poorer in your scenario, maybe a more affordable tourist destination like some Spanish and Italian islands, but I wouldn't have to waste 2 and a half years of my life in the army or look at the stupid flag polluting pentadachtylos or have half of my country partitioned by foreign armies.

so lets understand how this was taken. there were two books outside the church. one read and one black. people would have to put their names in the book
question 1 - did anybody check to see each person actually only put their name in the book and nobody else's name
question 2 - how many people in cyprus was able to vote
question 3 - how many people's names were in the books
question 4 - how did 800 tc names ended up in these books
