After all is said and done, Paphitis, even the ”mighty“ Great Britain is not willing to leave the EU without a deal so to protect their economic interests despite the people having decided to leave at the referendum 3 years ago unconditionally. Surely the British government still sees economic benefits to Britain by riding on the EU‘s economic skirt, no?

No.

The politicians merely see endless opportunities to fill their pockets by being tied to the EU...

Remember Neil Kinnock...? Possibly one of the worst British politicians ever before Theresa May came along. The only memorable thing he ever did was to fall over in the sea during a photo shoot!

He left government and went to the EU as a 'commissioner'. When he came back he and his wife Glenys were millionaires!

That is our cash, our taxes and that is why the UK voted to leave. To get rid of self-serving un-elected troughers like Kinnock.

Be as that may be that some British politicians in Brussels may have lined their pockets, but how does that effect over 400 MPs in the parliament who has voted last week NOT to leave the EU without an agreement?

It isn't anything to do with an agreement, nor the backstop nor the Good Friday agreement...

Most UK politicians are remainers (largely in opposition to the views of their electorate).

Remaining in the EU makes life easy for them (defers decision making) plus offers an onward gravy-train when they are finished in the UK (if they miss elevation to the HoL).

How about the 16.1 million who used their common sense ? Are they not part of the electorate,? Not forgetting that the leave vote represented just over 35% of the electorate. Mate, the UK will NOT commit suicide, it will sooner than later revoke A.50
Sterling has allready begun to rise.

You don't really understand how the voting thing works do you...?

I wonder if you would have been so picky if 35% of the electorate had voted remain...?

That was a rhetorical question by the way...

We will see.

They don't need anything because even if its hard Brexit, the will get the same deal Australia and the USA have at the very least.

In the end, a referendum was held. It's time to BREXIT.
