The Israeli attack would have occurred in a split second.

What matters is what Israel did after it and they called the attack off when they found out they had a whoopsie moment!

They apologised and that is all there is to it.

The attack went on for hours you stupid little Koala. Previously the Juicers had identified the USS Liberty flying over it many times and the crew of the Liberty had waved at the Juicers thinking Is-Ra-Hell were their friends.

Did it now?

According to who?

If the attack went on for hours there would be no USS Liberty. The Ship only got hit once by mistake and survived with just damage.

There is no fucking chance in hell a Ship is going to survive if the IAF attacked it for hours. They sunk virtually the entire Egyptian Navy in hours so there is no chance the USS Liberty would survive.

The IDF at that time was only 20 years old and in that time they have come a long way in developing one of the most potent Military Forces on the planet through necessity. This war was their first and they did not start it either as they were running the gauntlet with Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon and Syria attacking them on all fronts. They thought they were going to destroy Israel.

They all paid the price for it! They lost and they got decimated. And Israel took the Sinai and Golan Heights! What goes round comes round. Israel ended up giving the Egyptians the Sinai back in 1980 under a comprehensive peace settlement with Egypt. You see, this proves that even Israel can be reasonable but they won't be reasonable with their enemies that are not interested in a peace settlement.

In the end we don't care. This issue has been dealt with as a Friendly Fire. They happen. Nothing anyone can do about it other than develop better engagement rules and IFF technology.

In the end, Israel is an ally and friendly country to Europe, NATO, the USA, Canada, NZ, UK, and Australia (5 eyes).

You can jump up and down all you like, but we are very happy to count on them as a friend. Doesn't mean we will not be critical of certain aspects of their behavior. We can be critical but its pretty pointless being critical towards Israel when Syria and Iran are conspiring like 2 terrorist States against them and appear uninterested to cooperate on any level in which case you can hardly blame the Israelis because they are at war quite literally against countries which do not even acknowledge their existence or legitimacy as a State.

Australian Forces have experienced Friendly Fire many times in Korea, and Vietnam and the last time was a very near miss in Afghanistan from US Friendly Fire which may have destroyed a valuable SAS Unit. There will always be a lot of Toing and Froing when these things happen and yes tempers flare but we sort everything out with maturity and learn from these things and in the end everyone is highly apologetic from the very highest levels of the US Government and yes the Yanks do bend over backwards because they are nice people and they will investigate and prosecute their shortcomings and move forward as one would expect from them.

In addition, you can jump up and down all you like but The Republic of Cyprus and Israel, along with Egypt are developing a nice little alliance among themselves and partnership. So much so, there are yearly exercises between the CNG and IAF in Cyprus and in Israel. The Cypriots and Israelis have really come a long way now and are considered to be the best of friends. IAF jets operate with the CNG regularly and the Israelis even send their Special Forces to Cyprus for war-games.

It must be really amazing to witness Israeli F-15s and F-16s and Heron UAVs in Cyprus Airspace and flying overhead. I hope they are really noisy and break a lot of windows with some low passes near the British SBAs right over Sherwood Forrest.

It is what I would call "POETIC Justice" 8)

I want the Star of David to be very visible and distinguishable.

Yep! I respect all cultures and the Arabic Culture for me is very colorful and vibrant too. They are amazing people.

Also like the food. I would be very happy to be among such happy and kind people.

Jews and Arabs have a lot more in common with their other Southern European counterparts than either side can appreciate. They are full of culture.

i am also a habitual attendee in Little Kabul and China Town. I am a cultural person and take people as they come and I like people and cultures that are different, and colorful. And let's friggin face it - they have more color and culture than Western Europeans.

Gimme the Arabs, Greeks, Italians, Spaniards, Portuguese, Afghans, Chinese, Japs, and Jews any day. The are the salt of the earth.

I feel much more at home with Arabs than I do with people like you. We are like brothers.

Also Turks. I know the political situation is that we must be enemies because the idiots are illegally occupying Cyprus.

But the fact of the matter is this. We have so much in common with them also. If only the Turkish Military can withdraw from Cyprus because I can be very happy to be among the Turkish people. They are very nice and similar to us in many ways.

I don't hate the Turkish people and I certainly don't hate the Turkish Culture. In fact, I see so much beauty and color in them as well.

Do you hear that TCs?
