The second referendum will be to choose how Britain leaves the eu.

The option to remain will be included to split the leave vote.

There! Fixed it for you!

I am no expert in this matter. As I previously said, I have not been following British politics in depth for quite some time.

I am just suggesting a simple solution to move things forward. It now seems the British opposition have have caught up.

From my limited understanding, the leave vote is already split.

Why hasn’t Britain left the eu already?

Why is there an impasses?

Having remain as any option moving forward would be a complete and utter disaster.

Better off with a Hard Brexit. Britain is a country of 65 million people with solid global alliances.

And there can be no option about remaining because that will kill the country.

This option is no longer an option Max. Remaining as an option is basically throwing mud and ash into the eyes of millions of people. The democratic process in the UK would be compromised and people might as well not vote again because their vote doesn’t count.

You what?

And a damaging brexit won’t kill the country? A hard brexit won’t kill the country?

Britain is already dying since the outcome first referendum.

The UK hasn't left because the majority of politicians (and the last two PMs) have been Remainers.

The opposition have 'caught up' because their paymasters (the unions) have decided on a Remain policy whereas Steptoe (their leader) has for many years been against EU membership.

Strange (but fascinating) times...

So if I understand this correctly, the party that instigated the Brexit referendum is actually a remain party. And the opposition is a remain party too.

Might as well remain, because that’s what Britain has got,

You are indeed correct!

But the (Remain) Conservative party was forced into offering the referendum by the rise of the (Leave) UKIP party...

And while feather-bedded politicians think the EU is wonderful, a majority of the public (who they are supposed to represent) clearly do not.

Some thing is clearly wrong and it is a mess.

This will go on for more years unless there is a second referendum to put it to bed.

i would take your head out of the bucket if i was you. parliament voted to leave with a huge majority before the deal was struck. parliament also voted against a no-deal brexit and against the current deal negotiated by may. clearly there is a deal that can be struck but not yet found. if may got labour involved early this would have been done now but unfortunately for you there is no common ground between labour brexit and tory brexit. goes to show how stupid people were who voted for a deal they knew nothing about and still don't know becasue not one study has been released as to the effects brexit will haveon the uk.

The only thing wrong here is Parliament. It’s time to let go.

The EU are playing hard ball and they are living this. It’s a real big shame.

The people have had their vote so get on with it.

It is far better to get this over with even if it means Hard Brexit. The sooner the market absorbs the initial shock and moves on the better off we all are and I’m talking globally.
