The vote to leave was three years ago, since then thousands of youngsters have gained the right to vote. Just suppose this fiasco dragged on for another 2-3 years - would the referendum result still be valid? Plain fact is that most polls pre referendum expected remain to win so many people didn't bother to vote - particularly the younger generation who had lost interest in politics.

Usually international agreements are ratified by the parties that made them, in this case the British public, so I suggest that endorsement of whatever our government decides should be an option for us; that is to say a second referendum.

If "leave" truly is the will of the British people they should be allowed to reinforce with ratification it but leavers won't have it because they know they will lose.

As for the nonsense that "we knew what we were voting for", I listened to many phone-ins etc on UK media after the referendum and it was quite clear to me that many people didn't have a clue; one in particular thought it would mean going back to the "good ole days" of pounds shillings and pence, feet and inches and gallons of petrol; another said she was not prejudiced against coloured people!!??

Boris Johnson, what a first-class idiot! But he's acceptable because he's posh and he will tell Johnny foreigner where to stick his EU if it won't succumb to our demands. This is the clever man who told Londoners on Twitter that he had just voted in the local elections and they should go out and do the same, he lied, there were no local elections in London, he promptly remove his tweet but not before someone had copied it. It's a shame that Dominic Grieve didn't stand for PM, he and Keir Starmer (Labour) are the sort of people we need to run the country not rabble rousing jokers. The Tories want Boris because he is best placed to see off Farage and his mob of racists.

My own view is that leavers are simply small minded little Englanders, the fact that our currency continues to be devalued against the Euro makes not a blind bit of difference to them.The yardstick of measuring a nation's economy must surely be its currency. The small minded LEs only care that they have their .....country back.!!what a fallacy.

now this is where your argument fails totally. brexit vote and discussions have actually reduced the number of workers coming into uk from europe. at the same time the overall migration has not reduced. this can only mean that the migration from the rest of the world which we have total control over has gone up.

so why have we allowed this migration to increase when we could control it? because the argument is full of crap. in fact this should worry you because the migrants from the third world are more likely to be from a muslim country but hey thats ok.

secondly we have agreed to take 25,000 migrants over 5 years - that was cameron decision. at the same time the germans took about 1 million and the sweeds took about 100,000 in 12 months. in which planet 25,000 migrants are going to islamify uk. the trouble is you have followed farages lies whole.

as to britain for the brits, which brits are you talking about. migrants have been coming to this country for over a thousand years and more.
