I am paying tax and SI showing I live and work here.

Not enough, my three sons have been doing that for years, but because the lazy little b*ggers haven't bothered registering for MEU1, or MEU3, or obtaining Cypriot Citizenship (which they are all entitled to for multiple reasons), they could register their wives and children, but not themselves!

No one to blame but themselves: Got MU1 years back through the firm with the help of a fixer, then took me about 8 hours in total including trips to SI and banks and utilities companies, and the Muhktar, and immigration to get MU3 for the family ( obtained without a fixer) and not much more to get the same again to apply for passports.

Hooray .......We have just received confirmation by e-mail from GESY, that we are now registered Beneficiaries of the GHS and we should proceed to register with our Personal Doctor either by a visit or on-line. I think the former ..... me and 'on-line' don't go too well together ..... anyway the Pharmacist is a lovely bubbly young lady who is always cheerful and helpful and we are on first name terms!.
