So, given the EU have said they are not going to impose a hard boarder... And given that the UK have said they are not going to impose a hard boarder... And given that Ireland have said they are not going to impose a hard boarder...

...who will impose this mythical boarder of which you speak...? :?

And you obviously (and unsurprisingly) haven't read my comment or at least failed to understand it...

Who is going to impose this mythical boarder that will cause so many problems...? Because it isn't the EU, nor the UK, nor Ireland...

All of the "debate" i have followed about the border (without an "a") between The Irish Republic and Northern Ireland relates to the transfer of goods and mythical technical solutions. I would like to know how the UK would "take back control" of immigration from the EU without some sort of authority stationed between the north and south.

point 1 – bbc presenter claimed that the border already exists – wrong, there is no border because of the good friday agreement. Howignorant is the bbc news department I forgot the man in charge was robbiegibb who joined downing st in 2017. I mean how biased could he be
point 2 –there is no way we can have brexit without risking violence.
point 3 – if uk is outside the single market and outside the customs union there has to be a border.
point 4 – alternative is for the ni to be in the backstop fully aligned to the eu so there is no need for any border. if we have no deal brexit we will have a border between the two irelands.
point 5 - if we are going for a canada style deal where we are outside the customs union and and not in a single market then there will be a border between uk and the ni.
now this is a lawyer who negotiated the good friday agreement ffs. he is telling you how it is. are you saying he does not understand the situation? botis or rab or davis or farage understands the law better. you been hoodwinked boy like a good little lamb all the way to the slaughter house. for glorious future and all that shit.
in some way it is better to have the election in november but at the end of november or even in january. let the problems show up and see the assholes explain the problems. and of course they will be wiped off the map and the new labour government can go back in to the eu in days as nothing would have changed at that point yet.
as to control of people moving around the border freely, i was under the impression that the whole basis brexit was sold was that we would take control of the border. how will you stop the east europeans coming here from ireland. more to the point if you think eu will let you import crap food from america on the cheap and send it on into the eu via ireland you got another thing coming.
It has always been the case that what brexiteers said never made any logical or legal sense. Can you imagine a scenario that we can be outside of the eu but have a better deal then we are in and grumpy here bought it hook line and sinker. I mean how stupid do you have to be to believe such rubbish.

jerry if you listen to the clip the fella will enlighten you on what would happen to any technical solutions no matter how far they are from the border. all brexiteers are brainless and full of shit and thats where they will remain.

who is Jonathan Nicholas Powell is a British diplomat who served as the first Downing Street Chief of Staff, under British prime minister Tony Blair from 1997 to 2007. He was the only senior adviser to last the whole period of Blair's leadership. During this period Powell was also the chief British negotiator on Northern Ireland.

he was there

Paphitis, the idiot, posted, Stetling is doing great!! Its worth more than the euro and the dollar !!! What a moron !! Doesn't he know Sterling is also worth more than the Afghani or the Nigerian niara. What a liad of plonkers!!

The AUD, USD and Euiro are not the Afghani.

But yeh, Sterling is worth more than all the currencies mentioned.

BTW, USA, China, Japan, Canada and Australia have been trying to devalue their currency by cutting interest rates. It's apparently better for exports.

Germany does the same to the Euro (Greece, Portugal and Spain practically have no say) in order to improve their car exports.

It's a fallacy to presume a strong currency correlates to good and being beneficial to the economy when the opposite is sometimes the case.

A lower Sterling can stimulate British exports overseas.

for those who have not seen this video it gives you all the details of what the tory government was up to blacmaiking the eu. they don't seem to have learnt anything from that time that eu will not be blackmailed. why else would they be doing it today.
