In her resignation letter to PM Boris Johnson she said: "I joined your cabinet in good faith: accepting that 'No Deal' had to be on the table, because it was the means by which we would have the best chance of achieving a new deal to leave on 31 October.

"However I no longer believe leaving with a deal is the government's main objective."

this is rather revealing. so manchild has no intention of negotiating a deal he just want no deal. no wonder he wants it left on the table.

Amber Rudd has resigned as home secretary, saying she "inadvertently misled" MPs over targets for removing illegal immigrants.

what?

One thing that has surprised me is how many decent Tories there actually are.

The Johnson trust issue is going to 'cut thorough' in the next GE like nothing else. His own brother does not trust him to act in the best interests of the nation and nor does one of his own cabinet (well ex cabinet members now). This will resonate like nothing else and the more he resorts to clownish tactics like the 'JFC' stunt the more he will just make Corbyn look like a polished professional grown up politician and potential PM by comparison. The Tories are heading for the biggest electoral defeat in my lifetime. Nice.

there is something incosistant about what is going on. here we are with a tory government with a leadership who stood infront of people and have calimed lots of things but one of the things that stand out were the claime that once they win the referendum, all the cards and will be able to negotiate a better deal than if we were in. here we are 3 years down the line and they have had all the time to work out a deal with the eu that they said they can get. We are now 2 days away from not just recess but prorogging parliament and they wil return onthe 14th of october. Manchild has then 3 days to go to eu and get that deal he promissed. looking at this you would think corbyn is asking for a general election to go there deal himself and manchild claiming that he can do a deal, the parliamentary rules say that i should be allowed to go there to negotiate a deal. instead he wants an election 2 days before the day he is suppposed to go to the eu and risk losing and not being able to go there.

any ideas why he did not ask for an election on the 19th oreven the 20th of october? why 15th?
