but the eu was started as an aid to capitalism and grew a concience very nicely, so it also looks after workers rights and human rights.

How do you feel about your country's relationship with the EU? There were quite a few articles some months ago suggesting that the federation was sort of shafting the place - and talk of how Switzerland were either retaliating or circumventing it. Do please tell.

Since I have close relatives in Australia, I can not in any way infer that all Aussies are as thick as the General
