in every society there are well educated women of course even in developing countries or in undeveloped countries .so showing a few examples of succesufull women dont prove anything .besides turkey lived one of its worst economic crisis when Tansu Çiller was the president

Hi I prefer Turkish Cypriots, they treat women they really like in an "old fashioned" way, and are very respectful. But I also know that it depends on the woman as to how they are treated (in general) if you act in a casual way (to sex etc) in ANY society you will get the mens attention but NOT the respect! Right or wrong, there are 2 types of women, those the men take home to meet their family and those they dont - its sometimes as simple as that!!

Oh please - that is so full of crap and an insult to women! no should never accept to be put into two types of categories - right or wrong

Maria actually in Muslim society woman are generally very empowered and not treated strictly as sex objects.

My best friend is from Saudi she has more money that I will ever own in pennies yet she is a prisoner in a golden gage. She obeys laws that give me nightmares. So no I don’t think that women are embowered in the Muslim world sadly most of the time are used and in most times abused as mothers’ wives and the rest.

Sudi Arabia must be as bad as it gets. Only maybe the Taliban can challenge them! Turkey is much better than that. Of course our friend Lala was out of touch with reality as usual
