Coronavirus: Minister backtracks on mandatory vaccinations

Health Minister Constantinos Ioannou on Monday evening backtracked on comments he made earlier in the day that coronavirus vaccines will be ‘mandatory’ once they are available.

Quizzed by CyBC on Monday night regarding earlier statements he had made, Ioannou said: “I wrongly stated my personal opinion that it [the vaccine] should be mandatory.”

Earlier, Ioannou was asked by ANT1 whether the vaccination would be mandatory – to which he replied simply: “yes.”

Awww... what a shame for the Bedwetters on here - I bet you were all thrilled to bits that we'd all be forced to be vaccinated! :?

Thankfully most of the comments on the article show a bit more spine and intelligence...

In days in which the prospect of a hastily prepared vaccine being forced on the global population looks likely, I find the absence of rational, informed debate about this issue in the conventional media to be frightening. In the open, democratic society that I thought we supported here in the West, how can people come to informed, rational opinions on this crucial issue without debate of this kind? Here, Patrick Bet-David, who has recently done a valuable service by giving a platform to dissenting voices that are denied media access elsewhere, helps to fill the void by hosting a debate on a mandatory coronavirus vaccine between two sharp American legal minds, Robert Kennedy Jr. and Alan Dershowitz, who have opposing views on the matter:

The virus has not disappeared in the summer as he claims is happening, and since June 10th when he first wrote the article, the daily case numbers more than doubled globally.

Oh so Summer occurs at the same time the world over now does it Kiks...?

Anyhooo.... looks like you are still some way off from your 50% to 100% increase prediction... Still, you have to Friday, it might turn out okay for you... 8)

Summer comes after Spring to which what the author of the article you had posted was making reference to, which are the places with the greatest cases that are being recorded now since the article was written.

We will discuss my predictions and your concerns on the 50%-100% issues on August 1st. You may well be a little disappointed with the results!

Anyway, what is all this sudden interest in 'cases'...? I thought 'deaths' were the Gold Standard on which everything must be judged... :?

As I pointed out earlier, it is strange that ONS Weekly Death figures haven't featured in Bedwetter's posts recently... Why is that...?

I think you place too much faith in the official figures, quite frankly. I saw a recent interview with the high priest of the covid cult, a smirking Bill Gates too arrogant to even look into the camera, in which he decreed there would be a second wave. If so, this is what the big pharma and Gates Foundation-funded media will report, the sheeple will baa in horror and the official figures will be manipulated accordingly, with people even being murdered if necessary to bump up the fatality numbers (such as by putting people who don't need them on ventilators, most of whom then die).

Actually Tim, I do not put too much faith in the so called official figures as many countries are trying to downplay the new cases and deaths as much as possible in an effort to protect their tourism industry, political fallout and ineptness.

How can anyone believe that China with 1.3+ Billion population where the Covid-19 is believed to have exploded 6 months ago have not reported any deaths in the last few months and only reported very few new cases very recently. Anyone believing this, I have a very cheap Ocean property for sale here in Switzerland.

Oops. Sorry Tim, it is I who made the mistake.

In any case, my statement stands for future discussions with others. :D
