...masks help, both ways; but they must be well constructed.

...and you can test them yourself.

Well, yes, this is the message being pushed out monopolistically 24/7 by the big-pharma controlled media, but it is up to you whether you accept it uncritically.
To help develop a more critical stance, you could look out for debates like the following in which David Kyle Johnson, professor of philosophy at King’s College (PA), argues from the pro-mask corner against Denis Rancourt, who has B.Sc., M.Sc. and Ph.D. (University of Toronto) university degrees in physics and was a professor of physics at the University of Ottawa for 23 years, who disputes the efficacy of masks.

I find it a shame that we can hear no such debate in the dominant media over such a crucial issue and instead we have to look to marginal online channels to fill the gap. Of course, this means the vast majority of people only ever hear one side of the argument.

You can find Rancourt’s paper “Masks Don’t Work: A Review of Science Relevant to COVID-19 Social Policy” here:

Test them yourself. Good thinking. Like Del Bigtree does in the following video:

A single study is by no means conclusive, but the finding:

“We did not observe significantly different viral loads in nasal swabs between symptomatic and asymptomatic subjects, suggesting the same potential for transmitting the virus”

in:

https://arxiv.org/ftp/arxiv/papers/2003/2003.09320.pdf

refutes Dr Campbell’s basic premise that there is a relationship between the amount of viral particles in the body and the severity of the disease. In any case, almost all cases are asymptomatic among the young and the only serious risk is to the very old or those with serious preexising health conditions.

A pregnant woman in Melbourne was arrested for making a Facebook post.

She is accused of causing incitement. They came to her house, handcuffed her. Her other half filmed the situation. It' s on the net.

This is what the restrictions have done. It's a very sad day for Australia...

This COVID, has placed us with the likes of Russia.

Now, we are hoping for the Federal Government to intervene. What the States are doing is in direct violation of the Australian Constitution.

Australian Borders remain closed. It's impossible to travel overseas unless approved to do so by DFAT.

people who try, are turned away.

Impossible to travel to Greece or Cyprus or any country for that matter. Also impossible to travel EVEN if you are a permanent resident in another country.

I know of 2 US/Australian citizens who are trying to get back to the states. he has been stuck in Australia for 6 months now. He has a wife and children in Wisconsin.

Even Australian Citizens are finding it difficult to get home. Ten's of thousands are stranded in overseas countries like US and UK.

I think there is 1 other country that does this - North Korea.

"Joining COVAX is a simple measure to guarantee US access to a vaccine — no matter who develops it first," tweeted US Representative Ami Bera from the state of California, who is also a medical doctor. "This go-it-alone approach leaves America at risk of not getting a vaccine."

Paphitis,

You always blamed the state government of Victoria, not only for strict lockdown and curfew, but also closing it’s state lines to neighbouring states, and yet, your federal government is locking all of Australians borders to outside world.

What the fuck is going on down under for fuck sake? Where is the rational for all this and why is it happening?

All the States kikapu.

But the Victoria one is by far the worst!

What's happening Kikapu, is we have lost all our freedoms. We can't travel overseas. Can't go to Cyprus FFS.

There are American citizens, and citizens of other countries that are permanent residents overseas, who can't go home. There are Australian Citizens that are unable to come home. many thousands of people.

There are workers who haven't seen their families for over 6 months. now. Such as Resource sector. They are fly in and fly out. But because that imbecile also shut his borders. the companies they work for pay for their hotels in Perth for their downtime.

Yes the Feds have closed out borders. But they are looking to relax these restrictions soon. The problem is, the States won't let people in.

The Feds have always said that opening state lines is the first priority. The feds have over reacted as well. For instance, travel restrictions.

There was a woman that lives close to the NSW and Queensland border who had a miscarriage because they wouldn't let her cross the border to the nearest hospital. It's literally a debacle.

People getting arrested for facebook posts now as well. there is a major demonstration this weekend in Melbourne. They are arresting the organizers. They didn't do that for BLM.

And here I’m thinking that the only problem to Australia was China, but turns out the problem is the whole of Australia.

I am really sorry to hear all the crap that is going there right now as I have quite a few friends living over there.

I still do not get the rational for such extreme actions in a Democratic country. :?
