I quite like it there actually. Been what must be a dozen times over the years I imagine. On my last extravaganza, just before the war started last January, I crossed from Perth to Sydney on a 4 day train journey. Right across the outback. Amazing country. You could probably drop Europe there and it would take a week to find it. Don’t imagine I shall get back again. Which is a great shame. I have an open invitation in Brisbane.

I'm currently in Adelaide. I probably will get to Brisbane a couple of times a month, but most of our work right now is ex Canberra and Sydney. RPT is at 25% capacity. Executive is probably still 80%so we are quite lucky in that respect.

We are getting a lot of Government, medical and emergency services work.

No, no, that’s fine. So, it’s into Adelaide and then Learjet across to Brisbane then. Sorted. 8)

yes if you can get into the country, come and visit.

I'm in Adelaide, but will be going to Canberra and Sydney for 4 day cycles and then a week off.

Brisbane is our RPT base.

Australia will be closed for the rest of the year so if you come here, it will be 2021 at the earliest.

Ahem, do you know anything about Mercator projection.

The Northern latitudes of Europe appear much much larger than what they are. For instance, Sweden appears huge, but would actually fit inside Victoria 4 times over.

CRG. Well, you know, it was a rhetorical thing. Are you related to Erolz?

Anyway, it’s a pretty big country. Although when flying around we referred to the vast majority of it as the GAFA. The Great Australian Fuck All.

Well, size doesn't matter - as Mrs LR used to say.

But, to be pedantic, I reckon if you left from the NW "corner" on foot one week is a reasonable guess.

Frankly though, do we really give a fuck?

They forgot us! Unforgiveable.

Right. I forgot that according to someone's definition of Europe, Russia totally belongs to Asia

(Scandinavia too apparently)

OK - forget the analogy. Let's leave it at - Australia's a big country. OK?

Some people in here can turn "Good day" into a freakin' argument. You know who you are.

It's a pretty beautiful country.

I am getting ready to do some outback touring with the fam over the next 12 months as I reckon that's the only holiday I will be able to go on in that time. Can't go to North America, can't go to Europe, no UAE (I adore the UAE and stay there for a week every time I go to Cyprus) no Greece and no Cyprus the way things are at the moment. :(

So I'm getting my 4WD kitted out for some pretty big adventures around Australia. 8)

Lot's of camping fun.
