You and your likes are destined to be sell outs and serfs. That can't be helped!

But the winds of change are upon us old man. And that has manifested itself in Trump, Morrison, BORIS and their likes, and also in BREXIT!

So, poor yourself a wine, and have a toast to BREXIT!

There’s been a lot published regarding the effectiveness of masks. The gist of it - as it’s seemed to me - is that they’re little use in keeping the virus out. The bug is so small that an efficient barrier would prevent breathing. It seems they do though go some way in preventing an infected person passing it on. There are impressive graphs around which demonstrate that for the (mostly Asian) countries where they’re almost universally worn.

Ah OK, didn't think of it that way. It makes sense: when you cough or sneeze, the virus will be attached to droplets that mostly will be hindered by the mask

Asians hardly have much facial hair which the mask may help them unlike westerners and from Middle East where most have much facial hair, so I am not sure a mask would have a good seal to keep the virus from “escaping” when a carrier coughs or sneezes.

As it stands today:

241, 742 recoveries worldwide.
20,000 recoveries within 24 hours.
Somebody needs to start explaining.....

My take on this is that the the declaration of recoveries are lagging behind. Where I live, the official death-to-recovery rate is 2:1, even though death rate per million is quite low compared to Spain/Italy/...
It is 17 days since we reached today's contamination rate of Cyprus (so we had this going for a long time).

It does not add up: the only explanation is that the officials in Europe are reluctant to declare people as recovered
