Still no confirmed Corona cases in Cyprus, but for how long?

Feel free to talk about anything that you want.

I must’ve mentioned in the past that my wife is a high school teacher. Well today she gave her very first online tutorial... or tried to anyway!

I asked her how it went and she said… “Weird, it was like talking to a wall!”

Apparently, she’s not allowed to see the kids through their cameras; although they could see her, thanks to stupid EU “child protection” laws!

Not even their teacher, using government approved software and during a government-initiated online education programme, is allowed to see the kid’s faces!

Is that stupid or what… :?

She didn't sign anything... she's obliged to carry on her duties online, as set up by the ministry of education.

I mean the RoC and all Cypriot Institutions.

Cyprus doesn't need to follow EU Law I hope you know that. But they just don't have the balls to stand up to them.

Cyprus is like "Yes Sir, three bags full Sir". Absolutely zilch Grrrr...

I just listened to the one-hour interview with Dr John P.A. Ioannidis, who is a professor of medicine and professor of epidemiology and population health, as well as professor by courtesy of biomedical data science at Stanford University School of Medicine, professor by courtesy of statistics at Stanford University School of Humanities and Sciences, and co-director of the Meta-Research Innovation Center at Stanford (METRICS) at Stanford University, the second interview on the page linked to above. It came as a breath of fresh air to me to hear a calm, clear, rational assessment from somebody who obviously knows what he is talking about.

Im in no way qualified to express a credible view other than to say it is imperative that we all follow the WHO directives coupled with those of our own Health departments.
What I can say however is that the repercussions worldwide on the economy ,but more so here in Cyprus, will be severely felt at all commercial as well as civil levels. We have lost the very substantial tourist revenue, Im not that concerned of the plight of developers who will undoudebtly be massively affected.
Good luck to you, as well as to all my Cypriot compatriots.

WHO is a joke.

Luckily for Australia, we told WHO to FO and we did exactly what they didn't recommend.

In fact Australia was the firsdt country to announce the pandemic, 3 weeks before WHO and it was one of the first countries to respond and quickly pamp up its response and right now Chy-na Virus is in retreat.

WHO if FIRED!

Minnesota Senator and Doctor Jensen said that he received a 7 page document from the MN Department of Health advising him to fill out death certificates with a diagnosis of #COVID-19 whether the person actually died from COVID-19 or not. Can we trust the death numbers we've been seeing?
