Lets kick off with Genesis the first of the 5 OT fairy tales attributed to Moses, a Jewish man who was wondering in the wild for 40 years. What I find utterly bizzare is the story of Noah's Arc. Apparently Noah was then 500 years old !!!. He did however father 3 children
It took over 100 years to build the Arc !!
On instructions received from the ...all mighty he was to take his family ONLY ( Fuck the rest ) and a male and female ( transgenders were not around then ) of every living creature.
A pair of lions, tigers, elephants, buffalos, giraffes and from the more than 1 million of other animal species. Presumably including cats and dogs, even squirrels, monkeys and gorillas. Mice rats snakes and a myriad of other living things.
Now you must be ultra stupid to even consider this as anything more.than fucking stupid. There are loads of such total nonsense in not only Genesis but Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy. Some so called religious schollars will tell you that one must not take the Old Testament literary. In other words its only ...fairy tales not unlike the ancient Greek religion.
Give it some thought ......

...not because it is based on Faith that "this" is stupid, it is that "they" ignore what is the greatest gift that God gave us (read: people); reason.

If the Church had made a look into the science consciously and found it to be true, it would be far more profound; as thinking and Faith.

...is it the gold spoon and chalice, is it the alcohol content in the wine? (a happy coincidence after two thousand years, and/or inspired; a question that remains unasked out of fear)

Perhaps by upping the alcohol content one can make communion safe against the virus; who knows it may even draw in more "believers". But kidding aside...

...blind Faith, helps in desperate measures, where Hope seems extinguished, and where an individual is helpless; like when buried alive in an earthquake, with nothing else, a comfort when there is no support.

Looks like the Church excludes its self from real life (again), that which is outside their doors. Such Sanctimony is both Ignorant and Stupid, it seems, because the Church can do so much more.

Indeed, hope is about the only comfort religions give the believers. Most humans need to have Hope but not all.
I have had my fair share of tragedies not least my mothers tragic death, my late wife and my 40 year old daughter in law.
Im diabetic and in 2014 was diagnosed with prostate cancer. Believe me I never lose sleep over it since U have always believed that the right mental attitute is the best medicine.
