It is not my view. It is just opinions. I suspect a majority consider such an appropriate measure right now. I see no issue in testing that with a poll, though I note CG has not yet voted or Paphitis either who has said he considers such measure appropriate, with some caveats about enforcement and if such is armed or not. There is no right or wrong view. There are just people with opinions. Share yuours or no as you like. I note , as is so often the case (it feels to me) you are not sharing yours Londonrake, but are commenting on others doing so.

Not only from the UK but from everywhere!
I can't imagine opening the ports currently without such measure.
What worries me is how are they going to open the ports in the future without at least some quick test.

Ideally, a non Cypriot residents should be tested at the point of departure before coming to Cyprus if they do not wish to be tested and quarantined upon arrival. If there is a question regarding their health, they can remain in their own country to be treated or quarantined. Safer all around, especially the other passengers, crew and ground workers.

...it is too early, i think as well. Someone who must travel, must have a reason far beyond, a holiday, if such international flights start, anywhere.

...those willing to be quarantined, at their own expense, on the other hand, may warrant some special consideration.

...how about a Holiday package? Quarantine and rest?
