What are you expecting from Biden?

Biden's main selling point appears to have been he isn't Donald Trump.

Looking at the line up today he seems to have more acts than Live Aid. :D

I suppose a good hitting the ground running start is promising a $1,900,000,000,000 give away, before he even sets foot over the WH threshold.

You are neither pro dems or republicans but you are anti Trump.

Sounds to me that you are following the herd and jumping on the bandwagon with the Trump bashing. I havent read anything from you to substantiate why you hate him so much.

Anyway, Trump is leaving and Biden is taking the reigns.

He will be the first president ever to be inaugurated with 20k troops manning a wall around the capitol.

Well, you can relax, in essence he's gone.

The thing that's surprised me about the past 4.5 years is it's all been about the man's obnoxious character. None of his (daily, absolutely relentless) critics seem to have been remotely interested in any achievement. I suspect Trump, for all his glaring drawbacks, is going to be sorely missed in here. Or perhaps more the case because of them.

Meanwhile, instead of a genuine effort to put it all behind them, the Democrats seem determined to martyr the man and further exacerbate the obvious rift in US society. A modern day equivalent of the Versailles Treaty perhaps?

Yes, good observations,

I think Trump is what provides the Dems with their sense of unity.

They basically brainwashed each other in to hating Trump and his supporters, which basically let the far left flourish, and go unchecked with their radical ideas.

So you hate and detest people that tell others that they won when they didnt and also tells people to fight to be winners.

Do you like people more when they accept defeat and tell people to give up with what they believe in?

Sounds like you are gloating, Max!

Yes, we can thank Trump and his terrorist brain dead supporters for the National Guard being there, especially when the chief terrorist Trump is not attending the inauguration himself!

President Trump loves numbers, eager to tout anything from television ratings to crowd sizes that make him look successful. Others — like the results of the 2020 election, the number of coronavirus deaths, the federal budget deficit — he seeks to downplay or ignore.
