Trillions of dollars of which US companies are directly involved.

So you suppose the foreign ministers of the world’s two greatest powers, rushed to meet Nicos just 1-2 days apart because they heard him crying about his gas? :?

And how/where does the Russian FM fit into your understanding of the events?

Actually, your Belarus theory was even funnier.

That's why the EU is and always will be shite. They struggle to get 27 countries to agree about what day of the week it is.

I disagree LR

Some of you might not be able to see it, or are looking in the wrong places.

But the EU is a major global super power.

It is true, as a union, they have struggled to reach consensus on various issues but it has also reached consensus on lots of things.

this is not the only criteria to measure how shite or not the EU is or isnt.

Russia will not attack Cyprus, and neither will the US.

Cyprus has nothing to worry about, she is an unsinkable aircraft carrier with relations that are better than ever with both of them.

...well said Max.

Things will not stay the same, nothing does, and they well know that with Erdogan's intentions unless they change, who would not welcome, the EU, Russia, and the U.S.A reaching a consensus, with force if necessary against, him.

...playing his cards right, he has a Caliphate in Istanbul, returning Halki, open as a Seminary, the city a more cosmopolitan place, as a crossroad of many Faiths, Freedom, and Liberty, for Turkey; Turkish, not, just, "Turkish".

Cyprus is as hard as nails,

she punches well above her weight on the diplomatic front.

She even makes that bitch ass crack head in ankara feel like he is a global super power whenever he tries to deal with her.

Well Cyprus should veto the sanctions gains Belarus not because they don’t agree with sanctions, but because it’s crazy that the EU will on the one hand institute sanctions against Belarus and at the same time give Turkey a free pass.

Unless of course Anastasiades gets solid reassurances from France.

The EU doesn’t even have a Military and even if it did, they will need to vote even when they are invaded on whether to defend themselves or not.

France is a superpower elect. Along with the US, they can put Erdowan in chains overnight and turn him into a puddy cat and have him litter trained in no time.

Cyprus’ Foreign Minister Nikos Christodoulides referred to Cyprus’ vision regarding the establishment of a Regional Organization for Security and Cooperation, based on respect for international Law, good neighboring relations, and respect of each country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

In a video message at the Economist Conference “Europe: Reinforcing cohesion in turbulent time”, Christodoulides said that the Republic of Cyprus lays particular emphasis on the creation of such a regional organization.

“When political conditions permit, all the countries of the region should cooperate, establishing a Regional Organization for Security and Cooperation, without exclusions and exceptions, but rather on a the basis of a positive agenda having as a minimum precondition the respect for international law, commitment to good neighboring relations, and the
