We need to STOP trying to apply primitive Earthly science with which to explain celestial matters… there’s just no comparison whatsoever!

It is also dumb to assume that what we’ve got here on this shitty planet will be the same throughout the universe and that any of our planet’s laws will apply elsewhere!

In fact the only certainty is that we will never know anything!

Oh and replacing our science with make believe fairytales and God is valid!

Look I’m not anti God or anti religion and nor will I belittle those of faith. In the contrary, I admire them and their senses for social justice and morality. And not will I begrudge those who need their faith to get through life.

And maybe they are right. What the hell do I know. I’m trying to figure it out myself.

I doubt it.

If he laughs at our science, he is basically laughing at his own creation.

If you believe in God then you also believe we were created in his image and in his perfection but have fallen and require redemption.

Which brings us to Jesus and the one guy that truly fascinated me.

And no doubt God would have wanted to create the perfect universe with perfect life forms on it. We are his Picasso. That’s if you believe in creation.

Sometimes when I’m stuck in programming in my desperation I yell out to God to help me because I know he has the answer… he knows everything… he is the greatest programmer... so I walk away from my desk and go for a walk in the garden and when I return… lo and behold I have the answer to the great riddle that troubles me, and it feels like God enlightened me because he pitied my foolish efforts!

It sounds crazy and such dumb Earthly behavior...

I’d be so honored if one day God accepts me as a junior programmer by his side so I can learn everything...

Jesus would have to be the most influential being, the most powerful, the smartest dude ever, possibly even having the powers attributed to him, and the most intriguing.

This one guy literally conquered the world. No one has ever done that before. And he did it in death.

There are no Einstein’s or Presidents or Dictators that even come close to accomplishing a fraction of that. How? I don’t know. Maybe he is the Son or God himself.

Now if that is true, we should be following his every teaching otherwise we are toast. But is it true. All I can see is that his teachings conquered humanity.

Of course I would have to pass Celestial Programming 101, 102, 103… and all the way to one trillion before I can qualify for the junior programming position and even then it would be without pay for a few millenniums!

Well then you have faith and are a believer. Perhaps we won’t be roomies after all.

But the fact is, humans have been doing that for years.

I’ve had religious moments. They come when you approach death. I very nearly ditched my plane in the Indian Ocean in a microburst. It was certain death. And whilst I was still fighting, I eventually came to a point where I knew I was done for. You know what I did at my weakest point. Started preying to Jesus and Panagia. And I swear there was something or some spirit in the cockpit. And all of a sudden, 300 Ft from impact, I came through the other side of the microburst and I was climbing at 2000 feet per minute. I climbed to 25000 Ft. Skimming the seas that day wasn’t as much fun anymore.

I can’t explain it….maybe it was the shit I drank the day before.

But I still felt this presence for the rest of the flight too.

Maybe, I’m not so bad after all hey? I don’t know…
