Zeroing in on the origins of Earth's "single most important evolutionary innovation"

https://www.terradaily.com/reports/Zero ... n_999.html

''The analysis also revealed that, shortly before the GOE, around 2.4 billion years ago, cyanobacteria experienced a burst of diversification. This implies that a rapid expansion of cyanobacteria may have tipped the Earth into the GOE and launched oxygen into the atmosphere.''

How many people realise that there are two different types of life on earth. Everybody I hope knows the first type but does anybody know the second type?

This is what you call a survivor on earth. It survived 5 major extinctions and will survive the next one too.

One of the idiocies of the people who refuse to beleive in the Evolution theory of life is the beliefs that Humans do not really belong to the animal kingdom. We are somehow special and have our own place on earth.

Naturally in the last 10,000 years mankind has managed to become top dog on earth not fearing any other animals. Although one to one, quite a few animals would make a good meal out of a human.

Be that as it may, DNA does not lie. So which animals are cloley related to us from the animal kingdom.

Chimpanzees are 98.6 to 99% DNA match.
Bonobos are also 98,6 to 99% DNA match
Gorillas have about 98 to 98.4 DNA match
Orangutans have 97% DNA match
Lemurs are 93% DNA match
Domestic Cats have 90% DNA match
Pig 98% DNA match - So much so that a pig's heart valves are transplanted into a humans.
Mouse 85% - which is why most experimentation are done on mice.
Dog 84%
Cow 80%
Zebrafish 73%
Slug 70%
Chicken 65%
Fruit Fly 61%
Banana 60%
Tree 50%
Cabbage 45%
Honey Bee 44%
Apple 40%
Yeast 26%
Daffodil 25%

Now this is interesting
