Mine Explosion in Amasra

Postby Lordo » Sat Oct 15, 2022 12:03 pm

Yet another accident that could have been avoided, if only Turkey cared just a little bit for her workers regarding health and safety. Condolences to all the families who lost loved ones and hope that those who are trapped underground are rescued alive.

This song is not only dedicated to them but was actually written specifically for them.

I have not seen this film; it may give us an idea what life is like working in the mines.

...thanks Lordo.

R. in P.

...we are sure to hear more about it, there will be "reform", and there will be other distractions to take our minds and hearts away to another disaster.

But you are right, this is not something natural or born from deadly combat, this is man made, a failure on Principle, to those responsible a big expense they'd rather ignore.

...will the Turkish People respond at the polls? Such as it is they have little choice with what little Freedom (left, that) they have.
