Many members of the Alevi community and the opposition parties criticized the bill as a cosmetic step that ignores the community's actual needs and denies it recognition as a religious and not a cultural community. Alevis, Turkey's second-largest minority group, represent a distinct and often ostracized branch of Islam. Like the Shiites, they venerate Ali, the Prophet Muhammad’s son-in-law, but their faith is a unique version of Islam that mixes Sufi traditions with Anatolian folklore. Men and women worship alongside one other.

Now it is.

It seems there was a woman who was sitting in the square, she left, and the explosion took place. She has been taken in, and no doubt she will accept the blame and God help her afterwards

Amedspor is a Kurdish team and on occasions even the directors of the football club have attacked directors of Amedspor during a match. Do not look for civilisation or democracy in Turkish life anywhere. It has never been there since the death of Ataturk. They can do what ever they like so long as they do not step on American interests. It is an American vassal.

...indeed, only until recently was it called ''little America'', having the desire to lead in their affairs regionally with the same ambition. These intentions are quite clear with Erdogan's ascension to power, and beyond that, becoming an Authoritarian ruler, his expansionists policies have left every aspect of his neighbours' lives, never mind his own Citizens' lives, disrupted to say the least.
