This is one of the cases the VAR in slow motion distorts the reality , by making a non deliberate slight push on the run, look very different. I watched it on real tempo and on VAR 5 times!!

That is what players do when they are not good players.

Argentina has a problem, Messi is too talented and the rest of the team is likely to wait for him to do his magic and it may never happen. I have a feeling it will be Morocco.

Argentina will destroy Morocco, easily. It's like Argentina vs Greece or Cyprus or Turkey. If you like football, the final should be Argentina-France.

OK Argentina Vs Croatia 3-0.
I believe France will beat Morocco. Morocco is a good and promising team, but you should watch the way they score. I think they stand no chance Vs France or Argentina if by some miracle they make it to the Final.

Anyway I always had this question for the audience: How on earth is the UK participating with 4 teams be it England, Wales,Scotland and North Ireland??? Which other country participates with more than one team? Presumably the participants should be National teams... so is the UK one nation in occasions that suit them and 4 Nations in occasions that don't?
Is this just another trick of the Swineland?

Good point. :D

Under the same example, Switzerland should have 26 teams in the World Cup since we have 26 Cantons as a Confederation Country.

USA 50 teams perhaps, one for each state?

That’s one of those questions easily answered with a quick search.

Whether people agree with it or not (FWIW, I’m indifferent) is another issue.

By the same token Greece should have been awarded the 2000 Olympics, instead of Coca-Cola (Atlanta).
Also assuming the "Great-Crazy Man's" hypothesis regarding the 50M+ threshold is correct, none of your 4 teams will ever win.

They're not really my teams and it seems to me - they never win, anyway.

Now it makes sense why many of the players from the losing teams are crying like babies by not being able to get to the next round! :D

World Cup prize money 2022 table: How much will each country earn?

Joe Prince-Wright

Aside from the pride each nation generates for going on a run at the World Cup, each nation also earns World Cup prize money based on their performance.

FIFA will dish out $440 million in prize money for the World Cup as cash is given out depending on which stage of the tournament they reached, plus each team received $1.5 million just for qualifying for the World Cup.
