Don't be ridiculous , this author is known only in Turkey .

Your best route is Google , just ask the question Cyprus modern history.

his name is 'harry scott gibons'
no one knows him in turkey - he was a journalist for the daily express who went to cyprus from jordan in the 50's

In recent years, one book that has been advertised a lot
by Cypriots in Britain is

"A History of Cyprus: From the Ancient Times to the Present, an Illustrated History" by Dr. Kypros Toffalis.
(I have not read this book myself.)
