Dudes,

thanks for all the information. Its really great to hear informed opinions as opposed to the sometimes jaded local views. Its looking like we could be onto a winner with this area. Which is nice!

However, I do have one more slight query/concern. In the process of our research we recently contacted an Architect responsible for building / designing a house in that area. When asked about the owners / developers of the land in question he indicated that, as far as he was aware, the land had been reserved for members of the education department. Fortunatly, if this is the case, my wife is a teacher at a couple of the English speaking schools here in Nicosia. Although, they are English speaking schools so maybe they dont fall under this "education department" banner, which is presumabley a state / govornment focused incentive.

Given the above situation, be it false or true,

(1) does anyone know anything about the reservation / preferential system in place for the Education Depertment?

(2) who is entitled to the above sytem?

(3) is this area affected one way or the other by the said system?
