i'm in the fortunate position of owning four properties in Pissouri and Pafos with combined water storage of over five tonnes - I should be okay for my monthly shower... :wink:

There are more serious problems in Cyprus

Out of every three households in Cyprus, one is getting by comfortably, while the other two are either barely managing or struggling to survive, a survey presented on Wednesday shows.

This seems to be no better than the north. It is time to make peace. There is water in the north but admittedly it is Terggggish wa r like, you know what I mean.

A contrary opinion.

Over the years you tend to form the view that there's a lot of earnest praying by governments various for wet winters, rather than actual strategic water supply planning. Meantime, this part of the planet seems to be moving relentlessly towards desertification:
