Which European countries are achieving the highest levels of education?
https://www.euronews.com/my-europe/2025 ... -education

According to the article’s table 60% of young Cypriots these days have a tertiary degree, but…

In a country that has negligible science or engineering industries, and all one can find is cafeterias, souvlaki and kebab takeaway shops, what good are all those degrees?

It’s no wonder we have so many unemployed nerds staying at home with mom and dad till age 35 these days, playing computer games all day!

Our workforce would be better balanced if around 30% were tertiary qualified if we go by job/industry availability/opportunity.

Cyprus, is seriously lacking in many industries which is why our balance of trade is so… out of balance!

We have to import pretty much everything except for potatoes!

It’s obvious that our ministry of education is not communicating with our ministry of labour, as to the island’s requirements!
