my opinion, cyprus needs to capitalize on the situation opening up with a potential conflict between turkey and israel...let's face it, the last 50 year policy sticking with greece, has got the cyprus problem nowhere...time to change policy, get closer to israel, what do you have to lose...
Replace Israel with Nazis would you feel the same way? In reality hoping that Greece will somehow help was a pie in the sky as they are both in Nato and would not be allowed to oppose each other under any circumstances. In a way we have the same situation with Israel. America will not allow a conflict between Israel And Turkey unless Turkey comes out of Nato and throws out every single Nato or American base out.
While Erdogan is slagging off Israel, that is for the domestic consumption, they have set up structures where they are pretending to send materials to Palestinians but get delivered to Israel.
