anyone know of any good beaches actually in paphos

ive heard alot about coral bay but was wondering if theres anything good within walking distance.

photos would be great!

Not really any great beaches in Paphos, there is the CTO Plage but its not fantastic...its ok I guess...Coral Bay has some lovely beaches and if you dont have a car you could get the bus from the harbour to Coral Bay...

Paphos has a lot of things but not the best beaches unless you can drive a bit.

so where in CY are the good beaches?

Please dont say Nissi beach, I do know the Island enough to realise that a stretch of fag butt, condom, coke can infested sand on the cusp of a smattering of high rise hotels doesn't count as a beach. Let alone a good beach. When there's more litter than sand particles, it ceases to be categorised as a natural land formation in my book.

Cape Greko i'd say is one of the best on the Island

By saying Cape Greko, I think eleftheria means Konnos Bay, look for the Grecian Park Hotel and it's below the hotel, or there's Fig Tree Bay in Proteras, there's also Famagusta beach and several others North of Famagusta, including the one at Salamis, that's if you don't mind showing your passport in order to go to the beach...

north in famagusta? don;t you have to go to the checkpoint in nicosia first to be able to get down there, or is there an closer checkpoint i dont know about?

What about the beach at Geroskipou, or doesn't that count as Paphos?
