Is Ayia Napa still known as the San Antonio of Cyprus

....or has the place calmed down now?

I'm looking at buying an apartment in Cyprus and the beaches in Napa are awesome!

Another infuriating post!

You’ve just posted elsewhere that you are buying an apartment in Pafos!

Hi Simon, I worked on the discover ayia napa website last summer, which meant going up there weekly and doing write-ups etc for the website. Apparently Ayia Napa is not as busy as it used to be (going back 5-6 years ago), but I still found it busy enough!!!! There are lot's of lovely beaches up that way. As for the nightlife, maybe Im old before my time, but going on 30 I felt old in alot of the bars, still, we used to hae a great time :D

Actually, the 2006 season is expected to be quite a turnaround ..... much bigger than 2005. Napa is still strong in the clubbing destination scene, so maybe Protoras is a better option for u...

Curiously, have to agree with the grump, why don't you keep your question in one thread instead of saying you're buying property in a different area in 5 diff. threads

Yes it is!

But people on here give their advice free of charge – sometimes they go to extraordinary lengths to answer questions. I’ve seen people on here that have gone out and taken pictures for people that have posted from abroad and asked what places look like.

I think that if people take time to answer your questions and give good, free, honest answers you should treat them with some respect.

You have splashed questions all over this forum, should I buy in Agia Napa, Pafos, Polis, the market is down, the market is up, where is the next hot spot, I am going to buy in Pafos, etc. Quite frankly, and not wishing to offend anyone I think you are taking advantage of the good nature of the posters on here that have moved to Cyprus and made their lives here…

I run my own web forum – in my experience you see lots of people that are fed up with the UK and wants something better. I go to great lengths to help them and I have gone to great lengths to help people on this board too. In fact, I’ve had some compliments recently from people that have valued my free advice.

But then there are other people that are just dreamers and time wasters. I get loads of those on my website who have no intention of moving here but seem to get pleasure from making you jump through hoops and answer pointless questions – people that will never leave the ‘safety’ of the UK and move to Cyprus.

If I was a betting man I’d say you were a dreamer.

If you ever leave the UK I’d take great pleasure in welcoming you here and buy you a beer but based on your recent posts I think my CY£1 is fairly safe.
