I think that EU had enough, bulgaria is not ready and probably EU in october will be negative due to mafia and corruption. In addition we cant afford any other bulgarian prostitutes,...we have enough of them

if youdont see the difference between iran and turkey then you should opoen your eyes

With Iceland, the EU could get a lot of cheap electrical power. Iceland has huge geothermal and hydroelectric resources. Maybe underwater power lines could be built from Iceland to the UK and onto the mainland (a large power grid): http://www.evworld.com/view.cfm?section ... toryid=765

You also get the Icelandic gals... :) http://www.ontheruntur.com/icelandic_girls.jpg

it is being said that medditeranean countries (greece and spain, dont really know the history of portugal) have been part of the anti-soviet policy. bc both countries just came out of dictarships it was believed that economic stability goes hand in hand with democracy. thats the reason they were accepted and thats the reason they have received such huge economic help (usually wastedin the case of greece ).
and apatently is has worked. if one wants to believe in it

its part of the process of "democratization".
that helps explain the acceptance of a number of east block countries that also didnot really met the criteria.
and in this sense, i dont see why turkey should be different.

once again , is a turkey outside the EU a better scenario for cypriots or europeans ?
