Is reunification possible with this attitude.

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Well like when malaka basically is putting all Turkish people in the same boat I think Piratis is saying you are doing the same when you say that the atitude of one person on a forum is racist attitude from the whole Greek side and it will lead to partition.

Andri

If a TC had said something to the same affect i would have posted the same reply. I am clever enough to realise that not many GC's or TC's think in the same way as Makala. I was just pointing out to Makala that if everyone thought the same as he did partition in Cyprus would become a more realistic prospect.

Just the leadership of the GC side gives the impression to the outside world that everyone has these thoughts as Makala has pointed out!

I have also been grown up to believe that Turks came to the island just because of the coupe and their expansionist policies. No mention whatsoever about the period 1960 to 1974. So I has been left to believe that Turks came to the island just to kill and to take land! This is what I have been taught at school! So feelings of hatress and hostility were natural when the education system has failed to provide an accurate and objective picture on what has happened in Cyprus during the whole period of 1955 to 1974 and not skipping some dates to suit their own policies.

So attitudes like what Makala has pointed out are natural If this man has grown up like myslef.

To make things FAIR; Maybe the Turkish side also provide a misleading propaganda but this is their problem not mine.

When youngsters are grown up to believe that Turks came to the island with no reason Just to kill and take land the statements like what Makala has pointed out are very natural to me!AND MAKES THE RESOLUTION OF THE CONFLICT VERY VERY HARD INDEED!

Maybe the Turkish Side also provides misleading picture but If a conflict can ever be resolved the real truth must come to the surface!

i dont understand why some Greek Cypriots are sympathetic about the Turkish Cypriots to me they are not Cypriots they are Turkish invaders from 400 years ago. it was the so called Turkish Cypriots fault that Turkey Invaded in the First place werent they the ones who asked Turkey to invade wasnt it the turkish cypriots who wanted cyprus to be part of Turkey and had a Terrorist group TMT and killed greeks. the so called Turkish Cypriots are same as the illegal Turkish settlers from anatolia except the so called Turkish Cypriots where illegal invaders from 100 years ago. And also Dont Forget the President of North occupied Cyprus is Raulf Dentash a Turkish Cypriot who killed greeks

i agree with mrfrogng Turks and greeks will never be freinds to me the Turkish cypriots should also get out with the turkish settlers and go back to Turkey we tried living with the turkish Cypriots before 1974 and they backstabbed us. the only solution is we try and get back what is ours or Cyprus stays divided and we do not mix with the SO called Turkish Cypriots its didnt work before dont forget the Turkish Cypriots where our invaders and occupiers from 100 years ago they not our neighbours and never will be Cyprus should block Turkey from joining the EU so should greece i am very dispointed with greece for Not blocking Turkey's EU membership

So what are you proposing with all these misinformation? Divide the island and make two sovereign republics?
