Brilliant, three collections a week in Larnaca and twice a week here half way up/down the mountains taking everything providing its bagged up. And all for less than one months UK council tax a year where I've only ever had one collection a week and none at all during some extended public holidays.
Noisey yes at 3am, but in the summer heat when waste matures rapidly (stinks) the bin men are fortunately efficent and reliable

The rubbish guys are angels compared to those motorcyclists with the ear splitting revs on their engines. Those guys need to get a life instead of wandering around all night waking people up.

Yes I agree about the heat and the smells, also they get it before the crows start ripping into it. Had no complaints about my bin men in Cyprus, they are far superior to the ones we get iwhere I live n England.
