Whats going on with the time rubbish is collecteted in cyprus???? Do these ppl get up really early to do their job or go to bed late??? Half past three i got woken up by the bin men! Its not the most quiet job in the world im sure you all agree but this is a bit early ( or late ) depending on how you look at it. Surely they could do this at a better time when everyone is not fast asleep. May be 11 at night or 7 in the morning? Am i being a grumpy git? sorry could be the horemones but i hate getting woken up.

I would say Traffic is the reason why this job is done at 3am.


The bin men don't bother me.....it's those bloody kids and their scooters that annoy me

Well, you have to have in mind that these people have to pass from various neighbourhoods, and this of course takes time... I know it's a bit tauf for them, as a family friend is one of the drivers. If they did it during the day, the whole process could take ages due to the traffic limitations

WHY IS ONLY CYPRUS THIS NOICE PROBLEM WITH THE GARBAGE COLLECTORS?

Why are we so tolerant?

Cyprus is not the only one that has a noise problem with the garbage collectors. All garbage trucks are noisy. They are noisy in Greece, in Australia, in the USA. They are noisy by natrure. These people collect other people's garbage for a living, it is getting hot and its a long process. I do believe we need to grow up and find more importnat things to whine about.

im not saying it should be done in the day just not at 3 in the morning, how is it most other countries dont collect at 3 in the morning and cyprus does? andri its not a whine its a minor complaint, and as we all know we have a few of those, we love them it gives us something to talk about lol. I just wanted to make sure im not the only one unlucky enough to be woken up in the middle of the night lol,

I know that the start around 4 am here. I think it is also the fact that it is getting hot and they dont want the trash to stay out and start stinking.

mmmm good point it stinks at the best of times let alone when it starts heating up
