If this forum is a good representation of GC/TC relations then the idea of reunification is doomed. I invite all members to look back at the provocative posts and decide who the aggressors are. I have been looking at this forum for about a year and participating for the last 3/4 months. My opinion is nothing has changed, our GC compatriots see themselves as the dominant ones, the alpha males. We are lesser people than them. They have learnt nothing from their mistakes. It is clear the hatred they feel for us is no less than what it was in the sixties. I wish I could share Miltiades' optimism in the Cyprus issue but no matter how hard I try I can't, I'm a realist and the posts from our Greek members speak volumes.

mrfromng , the vast majority of Cypriots are not posting on this forum , the overwhelming majority share my views , if you check out my profile ., politics features as my hobby .Believe me most of us , Turkish and Greek Cypriots are peace loving guys who want to be one nation and share our wonderful island. I sometimes come across as an extremist , but only when Cyprus is undermined and the interests of foreign countries take precedent over my Cyprus , Limassol , Pafos, Nicosia, Famagusta ,Kyrenia and Lapithos.
How I dream of the day that Cypriots march together to celebrate the day of unification waving the Cyprus flag.

Greece sold you out because they don't care about you.

Turkey helped us out, if you learn to be more tolerant to your the batons of liberation that is the Turkish Armed Forces you could have joined us.

What's the point of relying on Greece, their millitary is pathetic, there never of any use, they don't even help Greek Cypriots in war-time.

If you joined the Turks you'd enjoy many more benefits and be allowed to govern and rule your own areas just like you did in the Ottoman times.

Infact in Ottoman times there were Greeks so in-love give the Turks tolerance that they said f Bizans were joining the Turks and taking Bizans down

When the Turks entered Cyprus the Greek Church greeted them with flowers as they took off the chains of the Greeks who were slaves of the Venetians.

I voted YES, Greece should have gone to war, if Turkey hadn't had helped us I would have questioned and been quite dissapointed with my people.

But they did come and I'll be forever greatfull and proud of this
