A lot of the Cypriots in Ayia Napa don't like Charlies, some dislike them more than they dislike the English, however you only have to worry if they out number you by 3 or 4 to 1, they don't have the balls for a 1v1 (unless it's a girl).

Wouldn't worry about Ayia Napa. Here in Newcastle we have had 2 shootings in broad daylight, 1 fatal in a carpark on the beach.
2 Fatal stabbings, 1 of which happened in a busy city centre street outside a hairdresers at 5pm and all within a week.

No matter which city or town you go to in the world, you can find trouble if you want it.

Steve

Ayia Napa is perfectly fine, my daughter loves a night out in Ayia Napa.
It is only if you go looking for trouble that, as in any area, you are likely to find it. Just keep to yourself and go out and enjoy yourself!! It gets really busy in July and August, so best to go outside those months if you can.
