I was living there about 10yrs ago and I was on 380pnds a month doing Accounts in the travel industry

from chatting to friends I dont think they've changed that much since........
my cousin gets 300pnds working in a clothing store.

I know a couple who have computer degrees and both earn 1500pnds per month - she works forLaiki bank he works for IBM

I m looking for a job in computing, in Paris my salary is about 1400cyp on 13 month ( i am 23 years old) In cyprus for a similar job its about 750 / 800 cyp. How old are your friend wo work for ibm ? in france for have this salary with ibm you need a master degree and 10 years experiences.

Hi AnastasisC

If your friend is working for £300 per month is is receiving less than the minimum wage and is being employed illegally. The minimum wage here is (approximately) £350 p. Normally 13 months' salaries are paid, no tax is paid because this is below the £10,000 threshold and SOMETIMES the employer will pay the employee's 6.2% Social Insurance contributions.

I pay my Cypriot employee 13 months' salaries and others twelve!
(everyone is ahppy as they are all paid well above the norm, here).
